School of Choice
School of Choice 2025-2026
The Chelsea School District is a limited school of choice district. This means we offer one application window during which families can apply to attend as school of choice students for the following fall. Each year, we look at our current enrollment and estimate the number of students we can accept for school of choice slots. A minimum of one (1) student in each grade level from Young Fives/Kindergarten through 12th grade will be available.
If you currently have a student enrolled in our District as a School of Choice student, any sibling new to our District will need to apply for School of Choice during the open window to be entered into our SOC Lottery for the coming year.
The 2025-2026 application window is closed.
The Virtual School of Choice Lottery will take place on June 11, 2025 at 9:00am. A zoom link will be provided prior to the drawing.
