Student Devices
The Chelsea School District operates with a 1:1 model for student devices wherein every student is assigned an iPad. At North Creek Elementary and South Meadows Elementary, the iPads are stored in a charging cart in students' homeroom. At Beach Middle School and Chelsea High School, students travel with their iPads and are allowed to take them home.
The iPad cases at South Meadows, Beach Middle, and Chelsea High include an attached keyboard that can be folded behind the device when not in use.
iPad insurance is available for purchase at the beginning of each school year.
Learning Management Systems
North Creek Elementary and South Meadows Elementary students and staff use the Seesaw Learning Management System.
Beach Middle School and Chelsea High School students and staff use the Instructure Canvas Learning Management System.
Email and Communications
All Chelsea School District students and staff receive Google email accounts that are used to access the Google Workspace. When possible, district staff will communicate with students and families via email.
Gradebook and report card information is shared via the PowerSchool Student Information System. Families will receive instructions for account creation when their students enter the district.
